Driven by creativity and a passion for nature, Sigrid has been bringing people together to create positive change in the community as the Executive Director of Our Corner since 2017. Each day Sigrid oversees the success of Our Corner programs, services, and fundraising initiatives. By regularly engaging community leaders, the board of directors, and other key stakeholders, Our Corner continues to grow and thrive under her leadership. After receiving her Master's in Business Administration from the University of West Florida, Sigrid has had many achievements, including Leadership Pensacola Class of 2020 and winner of UWF's Outstanding Young Alumnus Award in 2020. In her spare time, you can find her gardening, renovating her 1950s home with her husband, or hanging outside with their dog, Kaya.
As Director of Services since 2018, Patrick helps keep all of Our Corner’s services running smoothly. From running point on the cleanup of local parks and roadside routes to managing all special events, Patrick is vital to our success in keeping our community beautiful. At home you can find Patrick spending time with his family and six children, cooking or working in the yard. His family is his inspiration and he strives to be a role model for his family and community.
Since 2018, David has been overseeing the cleanup of Escambia County as the Sanitation Supervisor for Our Corner. He enjoys spending his time outdoors and the opportunity to work with different groups of people. On the weekends you can find David golfing, fishing, scuba diving, or spending relaxation time at home with his cats.
Colin’s love of the environment and community shows daily in both his work and personal life. As a Services Crew Member, he takes pride in helping to make Escambia County a better, cleaner place to live. In his free time, you’ll find him going to the beach, kayaking or boating, playing sports, or recharging with daily meditation.
After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation from the University of Northern Colorado, Pete found his way to the Pensacola area where he currently serves as a Services Crew Member. He enjoys working with his team to clean up our local parks, boat ramps, beach accesses, and roadsides and also works to keep our city beautiful after concerts, celebrations, and road races. Pete strives to always do the best job possible, which is also reflected in his personal life where he enjoys staying active by running, weight lifting, and playing multiple sports.
With her educational background and passion for environmental issues in our community, Madison joined the team in 2022 as our Education and Outreach Coordinator. Some of her job duties include coordinating volunteers, organizing events and cleanups, and overseeing the Adopt-A-Spot program. After receiving her Master’s in Environmental Science from the University of West Florida, Madison has been interested in educating others on the sustainable management between humans and the environment/wildlife! In her spare time, Madison enjoys spending time at home with her 2 cats and dog.
